Bellumatics: Tower Defense (the "Game") is a single-player tower-defense game for Android. This policy explains what information the Game handles. It is written to match the Google Play Data safety form for the Game.

What we collect

Game progress, settings and purchases are stored on your device and are deleted when you uninstall the Game. The Game has no chat.

Nickname and city name. On first launch you choose a nickname and a name for your city. Both are shown to other players in the online leaderboards ("Nickname · City"). Before you type them the Game shows the naming rules (no insults, ads, personal data or other people's names); names are checked by a word filter, any player can report a name, and we may hide a name that breaks the rules — you are then asked to choose a new one for free. Please do not use your real name or other personal data as a nickname.

Online leaderboards (optional). To show the Zen leaderboards and the weekly tournament, the Game signs in to Google Firebase with a random anonymous ID and stores: that ID, your nickname and city name, your best Zen wave and your weekly tournament results (wave, kills, commander, time of the result), and reports you send about other names (your ID, the reported ID, time). Names and results are visible to other players. You can turn online leaderboards off in the Game (Zen → Leaderboards → «Online tables: off»); results are then kept only on your device.

Google account (optional). You may link a Google account so that your leaderboard results, nickname and city name follow you to another device. Linking is done by Google Firebase Authentication, which stores the e-mail address of the linked Google account on Google's servers; the Game itself does not read or display your Google name, e-mail or profile picture. You can play without linking.

Error reports. If the Game crashes or hits a script error, it sends a short technical record (game version, error text, screen name, a counter) to our database so we can fix it. No identifiers, names or progress are included.

Notifications. The Game schedules local reminders on your device (city construction finished, raid available, city income ready). They are created on the device only; no push service and no server is involved. Android asks for your permission first and you can turn them off in the system settings.

Third-party services

The Game never shows forced or interstitial ads. All ads are optional and are started only when you tap a clearly labelled reward button. Buying "Remove Ads" disables all advertising calls except the consent status required by law.

The Game does not use analytics SDKs.

Children

The Game is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Permissions

Your rights

Uninstalling the Game removes all local data. You can delete your account in the Game: Zen → Leaderboards → «Delete account and table data» removes your leaderboard rows, profile (nickname, city name) and the account itself (anonymous or Google-linked). Without the Game, e-mail us your nickname and city name and we delete the same data within 30 days; see the account deletion page on our site. For questions about data processed by Google, use the links above. For any other question, contact us at support@bellumatics.com.

Changes

We will update this page when the Game's data practices change and update the date at the top.
